We always wanted to own a ASUS laptop (yup, they’re the guys who built the Lamborghini series of notebooks!) but were always put off by the hefty price tag. But now, it seems as if they too plan to tap into the low price segment. Which is why they have launched the ASUS Eee PC, all of 7″ wide and weighing just 0.92 kg. With a 900 Mhz Intel mobile processor, 512 meg RAM and 4 gig disc space, it looks like a fairly conventional ultra-portable – but further shrunk by about a third! And oh, we forgot to tell you about its built-in webcam and stereo speakers. Need more for this amount?
