How to play my mp3 player through my dvd player in my truck?

I have a 2005 F150 with a DVD player, an audio IN and mp3 digital audio in the small print it says, has a DVD player. I really want to play my iPod with this DVD player because I have not taken an MP3 in my car. Is there anyway to do?
