Review: ASUS VX3

As soon as we took this beauty out of its case, the Lamborghini yellow gleamed and we almost felt it rev in our hands. We switched it on, heard the classic Lambo growl… but that was it. After that, no trace of the charisma of the car that is its muse. Of course, this machine is more of a window dressing for auto enthusiasts who can’t afford the real thing. Still, we’d have loved to have a bit more power and zing in its performance. But don’t get us wrong, we aren’t saying that it’s a bad laptop. What we mean is that for the price, it is grossly under-powered and lacks the X factor under its hood. But compared to normal notebooks, it’s fast, powerful and a helluva looker. And yeah, you’ll also like the leather mouse pad with Lambo insignia and the Bluetooth mouse with a splash of yellow.
