I have this unit for a couple of days have passed, and so far it has everything, as announced. The DivX playback via the USB port is very impressive, not the quality of stuttering and very high. One limitation I emphasize: This device does not play WMV files. I saw it was listed, and WMA and WMV he hopes, but no luck. Apart from that, I was with him so far very satisfied.

I have this DVD player for weeks 3 and I really like it. I bought him as a free room went with this model for the style and the HDMI port (less wire is a plus in a bedroom).

“I use a PS3 in the lounge with DVD Play, and I tried both side by side and $ 89 Samsung is as good at upconverting regular DVD that PS3. Actually, I prefer the Samsung because it is the ability to stretch anamorphic 16:9 screen with the touch of a button during playback. The PS3 must be returned to the home menu, before you can give sight and only a section of hollow 480p HDMI output. The Samsung does 1080p stretch.

Manage every single movie that I got from the Torrent site. USB input is a must for users to stream. It can also rip a CD to 256kbps MP3 USB may not require more than six minutes, but you must manually enter the tags.

For $ 89. The remote is a bit expensive research, but look good.

The screen is superb. The sound is adequate for movies. Set up was easy. The DVD player via HDMI cable to a 40 “HDTV Sony Z series is connected. We played three DVDs so far and my only complaint is that the English subtitles were in the early American films. It odd given default language was set to English. I’m subtitles removed by clicking on the subtitles on the remote a few times. The size is right on the player and is one of why we bought it: We did not have much room in our bedroom to a large bulky player. This drive is nice and quick and easy to use. This is not Blu-Ray, but He did a good job at upconverting DVDs to 1080p format. And the price is right.

I love the form factor, which was the only reason I did.

It does the basic fine, put in a DVD and DVD duplication and games.

Sometimes a DVD is inserted in the center with subtitles, start very random. . .
The fast forward button works 2X, 4X, 64X, 128X (somewhere between 4X and 64X is what you will, in general, it is extremely annoying.
If you fast, It does not take a progress bar indicating the bottom of the screen to show how are the DVD, you or even see the time. It would be very useful. Remember, there is no display on the machine itself, so they should be more information on the screen.

I have a Samsung TV, so I use the Anynet . He turns on the TV and puts on a good HDMI port when the DVD is running. Nice, but I would hope that this will change again on the last HDMI connection, if I disable the DVD.

USB input – It is not every MP4, DivX only thing I do not think most people think that MP4 files.

Samsung, why not update the firmware?
